Asia Carbon Releases Shareholder Letter

Dear Shareholders:

I am pleased to report that Asia Carbon continues to perform well in 2011, maintaining the trends that were established in the 4th quarter of 2010, and we have seen material improvements in both revenue and income. Demand for our newest product, N220-W, has been strong and we expect this to continue as China's economic growth persists, particularly in the automotive and related sectors.

Annual car sales are expected to exceed 20 million units in China by 2015, according to the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and the demand for tires is expected to follow suit. China's Rubber Industry Association reports approximately 404 million tires were sold in 2010; with the demand for replacement tires at about twice the level of that for new vehicle tires. While China has become the world's largest producer of automobiles and tires, we believe the full potential of its vehicle market is yet to develop, and we hope to participate fully in this growth.

As we reported in our quarterly report on Form 10-Q filed with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission on August 12, 2011, Asia Carbon generated $26.94 million in revenues during the first six months of 2011, more than twice the $11.15 million for the first six months in 2010.  Net income for the six month period was $4.09 million in 2011 as compared to $695,196 during the same period of 2010.

SGS offers Project Management Services for Massive Road Project in Senegal

PRLog (Press Release) - Aug 24, 2011 - Beginning in January 2010 and planned for completion in April 2012, the Senegal infrastructure project, comprising 120 km of bitumen roads, 65 km of tracks and 16 km of urban works, aims at the rehabilitation of the Saint Louis – Rosso/Richard toll road, which provides access to two airports and other areas of urban expansion as well as rural development.

Kubota Mowers Cut Down Maintenance Time

PRLog (Press Release) - Aug 24, 2011 - The company, which is based in Shipston-on-Stour, Warwickshire, added two Kubota ride-on mowers, an F2880 and a GR2100-II, to its fleet last year to help make light work of large turf maintenance jobs.

Founded in 2006, Lawns2Mow employs two full time and two part time employees to undertake a wide variety of work from cutting private lawns and mowing grass verges to maintaining school playing fields. The company had used another manufacturer's machines, but when its largest ride-on mower was stolen, local dealer Sims Garden Machinery in Stratford-upon-Avon, recommended the Kubota F2880, part of the F Series Professional Outfront Mowers range.

Impressed with the F2880's ability to mow large areas with ease, together with its value for money, Lawns2Mow owner, Dave Faulkner was quick to purchase the machine. He said: "As far as I'm concerned, it's the bee's knees. It can cover large areas in a very short space of time and because it's a diesel, the fuel economy is excellent – it can run all day."

Designed with groundsmen and greenkeepers in mind, the F2880 is fitted with four wheel drive (4WD) as standard and an impressive 28HP diesel engine. It also benefits from power steering, hydraulic mower lift, shaft driven mower and transmission.

For maximum durability and power delivery, power to the outfront deck is transmitted via shaft drive and the heavy duty two-range hydrostatic transmission system gives infinitely variable speeds up to 20km/h forward and 11km/h in reverse.

What's more, the Auto Assist 4WD works in both forward and reverse directions. This allows the rear wheels to free-wheel when turning, reducing the turning circle and minimising scuffing of the turf, and then returns the machine to 4WD when not turning to provide optimum grip.

In July 2008, SGS became the first ever Authorized Qualifying Body and Accredited Training Organization to have passed the initial BINDT accreditation audit with zero non-conformances for both AQB and ATO.

SGS is proud to acknowledge that the NDT Training & Examination Center in Shanghai, China has once again passed an audit by the British Institute of Non-Destructive Testing (BINDT) (http://www.bindt.org/ ) with zero non-conformance reports for both Authorized Qualifying Body (AQB) and Accredited Training Organization (ATO) on July 21, 2011.

Every three years AQBs and ATOs have to have a full assessment audit in addition to the annual audits. On July 21, 2011, the SGS center underwent a three-year re-accreditation audit and once again received zero non-conformance reports as both AQB and ATO.

Higher Targets for Gold In View, Dillon Gage Metals President Says

PRLog (Press Release) - Aug 11, 2011 - Sizzling hot gold prices soared to record highs this week as investors sought safety from tumbling U.S. and foreign stock markets. Gold prices added to recent gains after Standard & Poor's cut its U.S. credit rating to AA+ last week from the top rank of AAA, saying politicians were too divided to enact needed cuts in government spending. "Worries about the nation's debt and the possibility of sliding into another recession have weighed on stocks this month and sent investors to gold," Hanlon said. Gold is a classic safe haven, partly because it's less affected by government policies than stocks and currencies are. Gold's value doesn't depend on whether countries can make their bond payments.

"American investors are more concerned about S&P's unprecedented rating downgrade than about any other single event in the past year," Hanlon said. "Our government debt problem has been building for a long time but the stock market's current slump reflects increased concern about just how the U.S. will repay its debt."

Meanwhile, interest in precious metals from the investing public and fund managers has only increased in the last several months. Investors have rushed to the safety of precious metals as the currencies and stock markets of most major, national economies struggle with debt and slow growth, Hanlon said. Continued tensions in the Middle East and North Africa have also sent foreign investors to gold.

"In my conversations with dealers, trust fund managers and others who handle precious metals in IRAs, I've been told that precious metals in huge volumes are being added to accounts," Hanlon said. The physical side of the business, including investors buying coins and bars and manufacturers using gold, remains strong. "Physical metal is a liquid asset which can be traded worldwide, and all major government mints are experiencing record gold sales," Hanlon said.

Global gold demand in the first quarter of 2011 was 981 tons, up 11 percent from first- rc helicopter market place quarter 2010, the World Gold Council said in May, citing demand for bars and coins and Chinese and Indian jewelry needs.

The world's, first-quarter gold supplies shrank by 4 percent year-on-year to 872.2 tons from first quarter 2010, despite an increase in mine production.
